The
Pleasant Valley Chorale will present a program of holiday music entitled


on Friday, December 7th at 7:00pm at the Essex Community Church.

Kick in the Holiday Season with the Pleasant Valley Chorale!

The chorale will present a program of multi-cultural holiday songs, entitled "Holidays around the World" on two occasions. On Friday, December 7th, the chorale is thrilled to be the kickoff event for the annual Christmas in Essex festivities with a concert at 7:00pm at the Essex Community Church in Essex, NY, following caroling at the Essex town tree. They will present the same concert on Sunday, December 9th at the UCC Church in Elizabethtown, NY at 3:00pm. Come and commemorate the season with the Chorale!

Admission is free with a goodwill donation accepted at the door.

The chorale is a 35-voice ensemble, directed by Susan Hughes, accompanied by Kerry Mero and sponsored by the Elizabethtown Social Center.

Annual Christmas bake and craft sale
We hope you may be able to join us at the Essex Community Church. A hot lunch with soup, assorted bread varieties, beverage and dessert will be held from 11:15-1 PM. While there, stop by our sale tables, featuring hand crafted items, baked foods, fudge, and more. Enjoy visiting with friends while relaxing in a warm room to the sound of music in the background.

Come hear the beautiful 4-part harmony sounds of the Champlain Valley Sweet Adelines as they sing holiday music in their own special way! Children who participated in the scavenger hunt that day will also be able to get their special present at this event from Santa himself!

Local author and illustrator Steven Kellogg will present a program in the library featuring several of his books. Steven will draw some of the characters who pop up during the stories, including an elusive cat and a freedom-loving goose. A Christmas Carol Radio Play & Holiday Celebration

A much-loved community tradition returns! Directed by James Coleman with live music and carol singing. Suitable and fun for all ages.

3-4:00 -- Refreshments, music, dancing, cookie-making, kids crafts
4:00pm -- Performance

Suggested donation: $10 for adults. Any and all donations welcome.
All proceeds support Families First Food Pantry and Willsboro food pantry.
